Young students become journalists for a day at the festival

In conjunction with Media Lab JN, a group of children will be making a feature about the screening of María Aparicio’s Las Calles, which takes us to the small town of Puerto Pirámides, in Patagonia. The city streets don’t have names and a teacher challenges her students to come up with the names.

During this event, these mini-journalists will interview several members of the audience and the festival’s crew, take photos and do everything that makes part of the publication process of a news story.

Media Lab JN is a media literacy project and this screening will take place at Teatro Rivoli on February 9th. This award winning documentary is part of the International Competition section for feature films and is also screened on the 8th and 10th at Cinema Trindade.
