More than 4,200 spectators in this remarkable edition

The pandemic did not prevent more than 4,200 spectators from going to IndieJunior Porto between the 25th and 30th of January. These are very positive numbers in a year that marks the return of young people to festivals and cinemas. In a safe and festive environment, the audience was able to live the 6 days of the festival and enjoy a program designed for the family and school communities.

In addition to the program dedicated to families, this edition was also marked by the return of schools to cinemas.

The audience was able to watch 49 cinema sessions, with more than 50 films, as well as a cine-concert that delighted all those who attended.

Without forgetting the playful component, all the various workshops sold out with those who wanted to explore and learn new things related to cinema.

Special mention goes to the Warm-up and Cinema at the Table sessions, which also sold out, providing moments of laughter and sharing among the audience(s).

At Lap Cinema, which this year returned after a break due to the pandemic, the human warmth was felt in film sessions full of color and rhythm.

The party was beautiful and IndieJunior will be back in Porto for a new season of film magic in January of 2023.

See you soon!
