1) International Competition: Attributes IndieJúnior Allianz Grand Prize (1.250 Euros)

Alexandra Ramires (Xá)

In 2010 complets the Painting degree in Fine Arts in Lisbon. Her first contact with animation cinema was in 2009 in the production company Sardinha em Lata. In 2013 moves to Porto to work in the animation studios of the production company Bando à Parte where she continued to develop technical and artistic work for other authors films . Água Mole (2017) is her first film, co-directed with Laura Gonçalves, internationally recognized, with presence in festivals such as: Cannes and Toronto. Founding member of the BAP Cooperative where she currently develops individual and collective work.

Patrick Doyon (Canada)

Patrick Doyon is an Academy Award nominated director based in Montreal, Canada. Its first professional film Sunday (2011), produced by National Film Board of Canada, garnered honours on the international festival circuit as well as being nominated for an Oscar for best animated short in 2012. He studied graphic design at Université du Québec à Montréal and since 2005, he is sharing his time between illustration and animation. Many of his works and collaborations have been awarded in various competitions : Art Directors Club, Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Applied Arts and 3×3 ProShow have all highlighted the quality of his artwork. In 2015, he received the prestigious Canada’s Governor General Literary Award for his children’s book The Sandwich Thief. In Spring 2018, his video installation titled GRRR (Georges Rémi, Relu & Remixé) got presented at the Arte Laguna Prize exhibition in Venice.

Sílvia Berény

Sílvia Berény Teixeira Lopes has a degree in Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Sciences. Specialist in Art and Early Childhood Education. Founder of the Nursery, Kindergarten and 1st Cycle OSMOPE – Social Organization of the Movement of Pontes Educativas / Porto – where she holds the position of President of the Board and has been developing several projects with Cultural, Artistic and Scientific institutions in this city. It is also responsible for monitoring internships in Childhood Education, Educational Action Assistants and Socio-Cultural Animation, Speech Therapy, Psychology and Educational Sciences. Within the scope of Research in the field of Childhood Education, she has collaborated with the University of Porto and participated as a speaker in Conferences and Training Actions on Early Childhood Education. Author of the book “Retratos da Arte na Educação” and several publications on Education, city and culture. Coordinator of the international Bridging Project, in collaboration with several European Universities and Cultural Institutions.
