Freedom to draw, dream and imagine. Drawn animation doesn’t have to be scary, complicated or expensive. In this 2-hour workshop we’ll explore a versatile animation technique with basic materials, without any age or drawing level restrictions. We’ll experiment with animating on tracing paper with short sequences of drawings, showing how you can make animations and turn animation drawing into a family activity.
With the 50th anniversary of April 25 approaching, the workshop will encourage the exploration of the museum’s paintings, reinterpreting them with the theme “Freedom”, inviting all participants to imagine/animate characters from their own idea of what freedom is.
