Lap cinema is born in this third edition of the IndieJunior Allianz festival of the desire to provide parents with the possibility to warmly take their babies to the cinema at an early age. It’s called that because the lap is where we begin to know the world, at the same time warm and carried by our parents.
This very special movie theater is on the stage of an auditorium, a cozy and comfortable place where babies can explore the space and enjoy the first big screen images with their parents.
This space, which refers to the animal world, was designed with great care by Marta Silva, set designer and set design teacher at ESMAE (School of Music and Performing Arts).
We chose little movies, all about baby’s favorite friends – the animals. Stories full of stimulating colors and sounds, with startling projections, in a space that allows the child to react and move safely. For the first time it will be an unforgettable joint discovery of parents and children of the magic of the movie theater.
Free admission upon ticketing on site and on the day of the session (limited capacity).
