Next Thursday, July 13, IndieJunior Porto will be present at the Cinema and Education Meeting, in Porto, organized by the School of Arts at the Portuguese Catholic University (EA-UCP) and by the Arts Science and Technology Research Centre (CITAR).

The event, aimed at primary and secondary school teachers, will feature leading figures in film education in Portugal, bringing the presentation and discussion of film literacy projects underway, distributed across different programmes, institutions and festivals. The event will also serve to publicly present the project “Insert”, a film literacy digital strategy funded by the FCT and developed between 2022 and 2023 by CITAR and CEDH (Centre for Studies in Human Development of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the UCP).

The registration is free and can be done until the July 10, and contemplates the possibility of accreditation of a short duration action.

IndieJunior Porto’s director, Irina Raimundo, will present the festival’s educational project at the Round Table: Cinema Education Methodologies, which begins at 2:30 p.m.
